Gary H. Becker

Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Gary Becker has been in the field of education since 1965. While in New York state, he held positions as a social science teacher, building level audiovisual coordinator and Director of Educational Communications, as well as being an adjunct instructor at Syracuse University.

He moved to Florida in 1981 and since that time has served in the roles of Supervisor of Instructional Television, Supervisor of Instructional Computing, Director of Instructional Media & Technology, Supervisor of Instructional Applications and Manager of Media Production (Media, ITV & Distance Learning) from which he retired in June, 2007. He also was an adjunct instructor at the University of Central Florida. He holds three degrees from Syracuse University.

Since 1975, he has been a national copyright law consultant and has published books, quick refrence guides and produced video series that are in educational institutions and libraries in all fifty states.

Mr. Becker Continues to be a presenter, at state and national conferences and provides copyright law consulting services and in-service training for the public school, college/university and public library communities.
